In 2006, a young lady in the crowd in Bolivia was approached by Femi Oni (Founder of BTBAB). Femi asked the lady if God had given her a dream to become a nurse. The lady, puzzled how a total stranger would know such a deeply personal dream, responded yes. Then, Femi said he thinks God wanted him (and his friends back home in England) to pay for her to go to university and become a nurse. The rest is history and that lady was Ana Claudia. Today she is a nurse – the first graduate in her family and the first fully educated girl from the favela (slum) area she lives in Rio (Brazil)

On the afternoon session of this year’s BTBAB retreat, she also shares her moving story, at the venue of House of the Open Door in Worcstershire (see link to our retreat)
