Just as we felt we were coming out of a period of confinement as a result of Covid-19, we now find ourselves in a season of world strife and uncertainty with the war in Ukraine and its impact on the world economy, but in the midst of it all our God is sovereign and has not changed.
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Isaiah 55 8-11
In the midst of this season, we will be having our ABM at the end of April where we have the opportunity to share our vision, strategy for the next five years and plans for 2022 into 2023 and beyond. Since September 2021 the BTBAB operational team has been led into a season of prayer twice a week as we look to develop our strategy for the next 5 years 2022 to 2027 and see where God is leading us. God showed up at these prayer sessions and we will have the opportunity to share this at the ABM. Our focus remains the same as God blesses us beyond our needs, we also bless others and in so doing enable others to be elevated from poverty and bring the good news of the gospel. Mission work in developing nations is the foundation of our ministry from which flows emerging leaders, ACI recipients, OCT projects and so much more. So, we are indeed looking ahead to what God has in store for us as 2022 progresses and borders open up for travel.
