Thomas migrated from Ghana to the United Kingdom in 2002, and after his studies he was appointed a teacher of mathematics and worked for fourteen years in a college in Liverpool. Following several years of teaching, Thomas decided to resign from his position in December 2020 to work for himself as an Executive Vice President in Genistar – a financial education company with the mission to teach families how money works and to help them become debt free and financially independent. Central to his decision to switch to his current role is the quest to have the much-needed time to pursue and bring into fruition his God-given purpose and assignment in life.

Thomas gave his life to Christ during the early years in High School in Ghana and was part of a group of young students in their teens who founded the Scripture Union in their second year of study for non-residential students. From that point onwards, Thomas has never looked back and has been involved in crusades and mission work in various cities, towns, and villages throughout the country. His passion for music is evidenced in many years of playing as a bassist in a Christian band and a member of his church choir in all churches he has been a member.

Thomas has other academic qualifications in BSc. Computer Science: University of Science and Technology, Ghana, BA in Practical Theology from Grace Fountain Church, UK, an affiliation of Crossroads Trinity Bible College & Theological Seminary in Texas, USA, MSc in Management Studies: The University of Liverpool, UK. Drawing from this background, Thomas has served in different capacities: a trustee for a charity, Chara Trust, to support with strategy formulation, and lecture part time in a bible school, just to mention a few. In church, Thomas is currently part of leadership at Grace Family Church in Aigburth, Liverpool.

As one of the trustees for BTBAB, Thomas sees his new role as a privilege and an opportunity to serve. He is looking forward to working with the team to serve in his area of responsibility with passion. Thomas is also seeking an increase in God’s grace and anointing that would allow him to encourage others to serve in their God-given purpose by spending quality time with the team through the direction and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Thomas is supported in Ministry by His wife, Eunice, their three children: Michael, Andrew, and Jesse. Thomas’ ultimate desire is to is to see people fully embrace God’s love and walk in victory and power while experiencing the fullness of God’s promises.
