I look at God’s creation and I am in awe at the Father’s creation and the Father’s heart that He created the sun, the moon, the stars, and the universe. The vastness of it all, so precious, is beyond our comprehension and this can overwhelm us. In this I see the Father’s heart of love, that even in the immensity of His creation he created us, in His image.
26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
28 And God blessed them. …”
Genesis 1:28 ESV
Jesus took all we deserve and gives us that which we do not deserve but have, because of the Father’s heart of love for us. It is the same love from the Father’s heart that compels us within BTBAB to be a voice of hope and a hand of healing to the nations, to the poor and needy in the developing world, to the unreached and persecuted. I pray that daily in our hearts we know the Father’s heart and no matter what we face we know His love for us endures forever.
