The Way ahead is not always clear, but Trust God to Be in Control.
The last few months have been a season of uncertainty, anxiety, and clarity about the future especially in relation to my next season. What does Papa God have in store for me? It has been an uphill struggle without sight of reaching the top, but I am coming to a place where even though I am still on the journey uphill I look up and see the beauty of the God I serve. I realise that I am a child of an awesome God. That Jesus Christ died on my behalf and took away my sins and because of Him, I remind myself that I am the head and not the tail. I know that Jesus is interceding on my behalf before the accuser of the brethren. Holy Spirit, my counsellor, and guide reminds me daily of all the promises that are mine in Christ Jesus.
There are times when the road ahead is shrouded in uncertainty, with each step feeling tentative and unsure. Yet, in these moments, it is comforting to remember that God’s perspective is higher than ours, and His plans are always for our ultimate good. Even when I cannot see the full picture, I choose to place my confidence in His sovereignty and guidance.
While I have yet to gain clear insight into my next season, I am learning to remain focused and steadfast in my faith. I have my eyes fixed on Jesus. I am seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and God’s word in Matthew 6: 33 says that ‘… and all these things shall be added unto you.” The Message states it as ‘Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.’ I am doing what I know to do and leaving God to do what He does best and trust Him to come through.
If you are experiencing a similar period of uncertainty, I pray you find encouragement, during these times when the path forward is unclear, and put your trust in Jesus, to see you through.
