At BTBAB, we call our short-term mission trips Toolbox. These journeys—lasting 10 to 14 days—take teams into parts of the developing world where lives and communities are waiting to be impacted.
Each Toolbox team is led by one of our BTBAB leaders, who prayerfully chooses the destination and gathers a small core team of experienced members. From there, the wider team is formed, and together they prepare through two training weekends. These weekends are full of encouragement and equipping – covering topics like hearing God’s voice, understanding the role of the Holy Spirit, and stepping out in spiritual gifts. Every participant is also given a role to serve both here in the UK and in ministry overseas.
We know that committing to a Toolbox trip is no small step. But time and again, we see that the rewards far outweigh the costs. Lives are changed—both in the communities we serve and within the hearts of those who go. Esther’s story from Vietnam, where pigs provided hope and opportunity, is just one example of the lasting fruit that comes when Toolbox teams share Jesus and help break cycles of poverty.
Looking ahead, we’re excited about the trips planned over the next twelve months. And in early 2026, another team will be heading out! Keep an eye on our website for updates, and please continue to pray with us as we prepare to send teams who will carry hope, faith, and transformation to the nations.
