I’m really pleased to say that we now have a planned OCT team visit scheduled for 15-22 April. Tom Griffin, the Director of Overseas Community Transformation for BTBAB, will be coming with a small team to support the project.
Also on the team will be Christian Lerke – this is Christian’s 3rd trip to Burundi, having come on the first mission team in 2012, and the exploratory OCT team in 2014. Christian is very skilled in multi-media and has been a great gift to BTBAB in documenting our work through photo and video. They will be joined by Brenda O’Connell. Currently studying for her PhD, Brenda’s first overseas mission experience was on a BTBAB trip to India in 2013, and she now wants to find out more about our Overseas Community Transformation work.
The training for this team will take place at the end of February, so please pray for this preparatory time together, and for the planning that will go into this visit. And if you are reading this and thinking, ‘ I would really have like to be part of this team’ – it’s not too late!
