During August 2021, God answered prayers which brought a Learning Skills Program closer to Khayelitsha which enabled Emihle to enrol. The program taught her study skills, time management, note taking and the feedback is that it was a good investment into her life and increased her confidence. She is now taking her final exams at high school and we pray for good results. She has already applied to a number of universities/colleges.
Life at home is still chaotic and Lunga has been looking for alternative accommodation, sadly without any success to date – so please pray for her situation and also pray for a godly mother figure to be part of her life.
We thank God for spiritual leaders like Lunga and Sina in her life, who do their best to mentor and disciple her; we also thank God for Christian friends at the Lighthouse Youth Group. Please keep them in your prayers too – for strength to persevere and endure, for wisdom to lead as they seek God for new premises.
