I’ve been on a couple of mission trips with BTBAB to Thailand and India. Both trips were a great blessing and strengthened my faith in Jesus. It was a great privilege to be a team member and to see how God works in us and through us as individuals and as a team. God equips us as we are obedient to the mission call. We certainly lived out the name “blessed to be a blessing”. Guess what, I’m going on another trip next year.

When I first signed up for my first mission trip to Peru I thought it was about me going to serve the poor community... but little did I know God wanted to do so much more in me. Through the trip I discovered more about who I am in Christ, gifts that I have been given and God used the trip to give me my voice back! It was such a privilege & blessing. I developed such a heart for mission and I would highly recommend anyone wanting to grow in their walk with God to go on a trip.

God really used the trip to teach me a lot of things I didn't know about myself and stretched me in many ways. It was quite an experience and I would recommend it to anyone. Working as a team was definitely a highlight.

My journey with BTBAB has been a privilege and an adventure! I have grown so much in God and have learnt a lot about myself. I have tried new things and met incredible people. It has been amazing to be part of what God is doing in the lives of people in places like The Philippines and Tanzania and to see those people blessed because of God’s provision, grace and mercy. I have made mistakes along the way, but I have really experienced the goodness of God, even at my lowest points where I really did not deserve it. If any of you are thinking about going on a trip, I would really encourage you to go for it! You will see God move in ways you have never known before. You will see the lives of others impacted by the love of Christ and as your faith is taken to a whole new level your life will never be the same again

I have had the opportunity to go on many trips with BTBAB and every time I participate in a Toolbox weekend I am amazed by how without fail I learn something new about myself and discover new things about mission and God's heart for the poor.
