We are currently going through the approval process for a new ACI recipient named Lho from Thailand. This young man was identified as a potential candidate for sponsorship by the BTBAB Mission team led by Esther Price in September 2022. He is a young man aged 21, living in Chaing Rai, in the north of Thailand. He currently lives at home with his parents and younger sister. The family migrated to Thailand from China and have an agricultural background. His parents are Buddhists, however his 15 year old sister has also become a Christian.
Lho has a humble servant heart and serves both in the youth church and in the community. Lho leads worship in the team and assists in leading the youth group when the leaders are away. He helps teach football in the community to the local kids and young men.
Lho would like to complete a 4 year degree course at the Chaing Rai University in Physical Education. After he completes his degree, he plans to become a PE Teacher in a local school. He hopes to inspire the youth in his community by engaging in sports with them. He will continue to serve in his local church.
