The Peru team travelled deep into the jungle to bring the good news of Christ to unreached villages and tribal communities. Using the gifts and skills that they had, their activities included health clinics, children’s work and dramas.
The team consisted of six people from churches across the UK and Ireland. During their time in Peru they were able to serve in several different areas of ministries including children’s ministry in a boys’ orphanage and health ministry running clinics where they gave out medicines and glasses to those in need. The team were especially blessed to be able to outreach to unreached villages and tribal community where they incorporated drama performances, health clinics, children’s activities and testimonies to show and share the love of God with the people they met.
In San Ramon, the team were invited to share the word of God with a women’s group in a local church, and also in the church services where they shared testimonies, songs and words of encouragement.
In preparation for the trip, the team had raised £950 for a sewing project which they donated to the women’s group in the local church. Miraculously, the team didnt spend the full budget that they had allocated for the trip, so the remaining £500 was donated to the boys’ orphanage to help with their work.
