Further to our last report, we have been researching ways to help Emihle with her studies and preparations for her upcoming exams. Conversations have been held with Lunga (Lighthouse Foundation) and there are a couple of options currently under consideration which can be put in place. Our hope is that we will be able to facilitate a place where she can concentrate on her studies without any outside distractions. We anticipate that we will be able to give you more details in the next edition of the newsletter.
In May, we received a progress report from Lunga, whilst there are a few concerns, she has been proactive in submitting applications to the universities, which is encouraging to hear that she is taking ownership and responsibility over this process. In the meantime, please continue to uphold her in your prayers, that she will receive a fresh revelation of God’s love and enable her to overcome her emotional and attitude battles. Pray too, that God will provide a mother figure in her life. God is able to do more than we can think or imagine.
