It’s so true that there are seasons and times in life. Things move and shift but one thing never changes, is always the same and that is the character of God. He is the one who can lean on and rely on in life.
In Ecclesiastes 3 – A Time for Everything
1 There is a time for everything,and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2 A time to be born and a time to die,a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 A time to kill and a time to heal,a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 A time to weep and a time to laugh,a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 A time to search and a time to give up,a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 A time to tear and a time to mend,a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 A time to love and a time to hate,a time for war and a time for peace.
As an organisation we have been in a season of establishing and pioneering a new base of operation in Liverpool. There have been shifts and changes within the team. But my heart’s cry has always been “Lord be the God of the breakout and breakthrough, there is more for BTBAB to do and You have established it by Your hand”. It’s sometimes hard to carry vision and it can seem very difficult however when that happens I remember that Jesus said in Matthew 11, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” So I would like to remind us all that there are seasons and times, that God doesn’t give us more that we can bear however when it does feel like that we need to grab onto God and not let go until we see the breakthrough happen.
