Friday, May 3rd, saw the first Toolbox training weekend for the Malawi trip. The training centre was situated in the heart of Liverpool and it was a great opportunity for the team to meet and get a taste of community living.
It was a joy to see this team come together, as I have held the nation of Malawi in my heart for nearly 3 years. The training weekend allows the team to develop and explore the skills God has blessed us with to serve in the developing world and also gives a deeper meaning to how blessed we are here at home. Malawi is one of the poorest countries in the world and facing significant challenges of poverty. The team now has some preparations to complete before July. Please keep us in prayer for God’s provision, guidance and protection as we press ahead. Matt 10:16 I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves. Philippians 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
