This year is quickly coming to a close and as we look to the end of the year in 2024, we begin to look back at all that we have done or planned to accomplish. We realise that the year seems to have flown by and there have been a lot of activities and things that have taken our time. When we look at our year, do we find that we ask ourselves how much God has been in the activities and plans we made for the year. We may have brought them before the Lord at the start of the year but has He been involved as we have accomplished them. How many of these activities when completed have we thanked Him for.
For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

When we meditate on the above verse, we know that God has a plan for us. When I look at this year, can I say that my plans and activities have aligned with His plans for me, which are for good and not for evil. It is always good for us to check our plans to ensure that they align with what we believe God has for us. I am thankful that we serve a merciful God and we can always come before Him and ask for His leading and direction when we may have slightly steered from His path for us. So be encouraged, He has said that He will never leave us nor forsake us.
