Peniel joined the Redeeming the Land team in November 2015 as our new Project Co-ordinator. Peniel has a real heart to serve the Lord in his country of Burundi, and first became involved with the project in January 2015 as a volunteer being mentored by our Field worker Karen.

Originally from the Gitega/Mutaho area towards the North of Burundi, Peniel suffered loss of family members and home during the civil was in the 1990s, and spent 6 years growing up in a refugee camp. Through God’s grace he was able to continue his education, and eventually moved to the capital, Bujumbura to complete his university education.
