I have a love for Asia and this year BTBAB will be visiting Southeast Asia for the fourteenth time! In the last 18 years we have been to Cambodia & Indonesia once, twice to India and three times to Thailand, Philippines, and Vietnam. Some of these nations we call ‘mandate nations’ – places that BTBAB has a particular calling to.
One of these mandate nations is Vietnam, and throughout the years we have invested much into this nation through our visits and also from sponsoring three ACI recipients. So, this summer I will be taking a team to Vietnam. In 2015 I was a core team member of the team led by Shirley so I’m excited to be going back and the last time we went was in 2016.
We have also listened to those that have expressed their desire to go in the summer holidays, those who are in education – teachers and students alike. So, if you would like to go on a trip this year and can only come in the school holidays, we will be going from 24th July – 7th August. The training weekends will be on 12th – 14th May and 16th – 18th June. Flight prices have increased significantly since the pandemic, so the approximate cost is £1,850 in total. However, please do not limit God if you feel that you should come, as He always provides and many people going on trips with BTBAB can testify to Gods supernatural provision.
