We are grateful for the recent ABM where the Trustees and the operational team reviewed achievements for 2025/26, including visits across the UK, sponsorship of two ACI students, and new OCT project plans addressing poverty. We are looking for God’s breakthrough as we move into 2026/27.
I took these photographs during a walk and reflected on how dew symbolises God’s presence in our daily lives. I came across the below messages that remind us to pause, find comfort, and seek encouragement amidst life’s busyness and this is what I pray for BTBAB to blossom in our next season in 2026/27.
Divine Blessing and Favour
In Genesis, Isaac blesses Jacob with “the dew of heaven” (Genesis 27:28), signifying God’s continuous, unearned provision. Like the dew that settles quietly upon the earth, His blessings are graciously given. A sign of ongoing care that sustains us in ways often unnoticed but deeply impactful.
Spiritual Renewal and Growth
Dew is a powerful symbol of restoration. Just as it refreshes the parched earth and coaxes flowers into bloom, God promises a similar revival for our souls, see Hosea 14:5.
“I will be like the dew to Israel; he will blossom like the lily.”
A promise of God’s restoration and to Israel and for us in our weariness, this “divine dew” brings the hope of a fresh start and the strength to blossom anew.
God’s Daily Mercies are New Every Morning
This is a quiet assurance that we are equipped with enough grace to face the trials and triumphs of the day ahead.
His Gentle, Intimate Presence
God’s presence brings comfort to our lives, like subtle moisture nourishing a leaf. Though often unnoticed amid daily distractions, God remains omnipresent.
Hope, Patience, and God’s Invisible Work
Dew forms slowly overnight, unseen until morning, like faith’s gradual growth. Though often hidden, faith sustains us and calls for trust in God’s timing, even when answers to prayer are not yet apparent.
A Call to Reflection
Ask yourself how God is: sustaining you quietly, restoring your strength, encouraging you with His gentle presence.
