So its been 5 months since I returned from my fact finding trip to Thailand & I am now getting ready to return.  But this time I will going for 6 months!

So I’ve got a new passport (kind of essential in my line of work!), I’ve reserved my flight and in 10 weeks time I leave the cold autumnal weather of the UK and arrive in sunny Thailand.

So what will I be doing?  After travelling the length of Thailand and visiting various ministries, it seems that God is leading me to friendship evangelism, and studying at language school, which will help me get an educational visa.  I also hope to teach English as a volunteer.  The rest, I guess is up to God!

One of the things that I have learnt on this recent journey of faith, is to surrender my own plans and allow God to lead me into His will.   When I left for Thailand in March, the scripture that was very pertinent to me was Proverbs 16:9 – In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.  This continues to be my prayer!

“... in July 18 I left my full-time job and moved to the BTBAB base to train for 6-12 months before being sent out to the first nation that I feel called to. ”
