Lo Thaiyai – Thailand
We have received another newsletter from Lo sharing all the activities. If you would like to receive a copy of his newsletter, where you can read so much more than I can include here, please contact me at aci@btbab.org
This young man continues to grow in maturity in leadership and his Christian life. We praise God that he has not neglected his walk with the Lord. This is part of his personal testimony:
“Over the past three to four months, I am truly grateful to how God is transforming my life. He led me to New Life Church which has truly become a second home for me.Through this church family, I have grown so much spiritually. I can clearly see that my faith has become stronger. There were sins and struggles that held on to my life for many years, but God has been setting me free from them. I feel like a new person every day and am experiencing his peace and joy. No matter what challenges that I face I want to surrender my life to God and allow Him to lead me each day.”
It would be great if you could join us in these prayer requests for him.
- Strength for his studies and ministry.
- God’s guidance and favour as he applies for Thai citizenship
- Wisdom to lead well as a student leader.
- Continued spiritual growth and deeper faith
- A greater hunger and passion for God’s presence
- Diligence and progress in learning English
Bahle Jacobs – South Africa
We’ve also heard from Bahle. He tells us that university has been going well, although it has definitely been a busy season, having just finished one month of teaching practicals in a school in Khayelitsha. He is continuing his studies, despite the classes being online due to some protests happening at the University. He is grateful for the opportunities God has given him to grow both academically and personally.
Outside of university, he was involved with the holiday club at the Lighthouse Foundation where he had the opportunity to lead and serve the young people of the community of Kuyasa. He testifies that it was really an experience that shaped him to become more intentional in connecting with the youth about Jesus.
I find this so encouraging and a real privilege to be a part of these young men’s lives by giving a monthly sponsorship. Please, I would ask you to consider joining us in sponsoring these young people by making a monthly donation of £10 or more if you’re able. You know, every child deserves the chance to dream beyond poverty. By sponsoring a young person’s education, you’re not just covering school fees—you’re opening doors to opportunity, dignity, and hope. Your support breaks cycles of hardship and plants seeds of transformation that ripple through families, communities, and even nations. Together, we can lift lives and ignite futures through the simple, powerful gift of education.
