As you are aware Ethiopia has been through a difficult time with Covid19 and civil unrest/conflict.There have been difficulties in getting communication flowing, but praise God, that has been resolved and we have been receiving updates. We have sent a further £1500 for the project “From The Ground Up” that was started back in late spring time last year. Pastor Tegene informed us that the village is so grateful for the funding received.
In Ethiopia, the rainy season starts in July and ends in September, they can get very heavy rains and usually this is followed by a lot of water flowing down from the mountains which can be extreme and has flooded the village in the past. Usually the ground starts to dry out at the end of September. Therefore some folk from the village are preparing the grounds for the next planting of crops. Please join me in prayer that this will be a new beginning of a better future for the people living in the village of Shao. Psalm 9:9 “ The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, A stronghold in times of trouble.”
